Description
The South Eastern European Journal of Public Health (SEEJPH) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing knowledge across all areas of public health and health sciences. With a special emphasis on global health and health systems in transition, SEEJPH serves as a vital platform for researchers, practitioners, and policymakers—particularly those from Southern and Eastern European regions—to share innovative, evidence-based findings. The journal prioritizes interdisciplinary approaches and encourages submissions that explore the broader determinants of health and health service delivery in both developed and developing contexts.
Scope of the Journal
SEEJPH covers a wide range of subjects, including Health and Public Health, Environmental and Occupational Health, Health in Social Science, and Health Policy. The journal particularly focuses on global health challenges, transitional health systems, healthcare access, epidemiology, social determinants of health, health equity, health governance, and sustainable development. Contributions involving cross-sector collaboration, public health interventions, and health policy evaluation are strongly encouraged. By publishing original research, reviews, case studies, and policy commentaries, SEEJPH aims to inform and shape public health practice and policy globally, with special relevance to countries in transition.
