Description
The Journal of Survey in Fisheries Sciences (SFS), ISSN: 2368-7487, is an open-access, peer-reviewed scientific journal that publishes three issues annually—in February, June, and October. Dedicated to advancing research in aquatic and fishery sciences, the journal accepts original and unpublished manuscripts in the form of research articles, short communications, and reviews. SFS promotes the dissemination of high-quality scholarly work by maintaining a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. With a focus on fisheries, aquaculture, aquatic ecosystems, aquatic species health, and fish processing, the journal serves as a comprehensive platform for scientists, researchers, and practitioners aiming to enhance understanding and innovation within aquatic disciplines. All published articles are freely accessible, enabling the global scientific community to read, share, and build upon published findings without restriction.
Scope of the Journal
The Journal of Survey in Fisheries Sciences covers a broad interdisciplinary scope, encompassing subjects within veterinary sciences (miscellaneous), environmental science, ecology, agricultural and biological sciences, and evolution, behavior, and systematics. Topics include but are not limited to aquatic animal health and veterinary care, biodiversity and ecosystem dynamics, aquaculture systems, aquatic nutrition, disease diagnostics, environmental toxicology, water pollution and sustainability, marine and freshwater ecology, conservation biology, evolutionary adaptations of aquatic organisms, behavioral ecology, reproductive biology, genetic diversity, and systematic classification of aquatic species. The journal also encourages submissions addressing the socio-economic and policy aspects of fisheries, sustainable resource management, habitat restoration, and innovative practices in aquatic food production and processing. By integrating multiple scientific disciplines, SFS aims to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of global aquatic and environmental research.
