About the Journal

Vascular and Endovascular Review (VER) is an international, peer-reviewed, English-language medical journal dedicated to advancing knowledge in vascular and endovascular disease. Published by Scarlet Publishing Solutions, the journal operates under a continuous publishing model and releases two issues per year. VER is designed to support time-pressured clinicians by delivering authoritative, balanced, and clinically relevant content that reflects the latest advances, expert opinion, and evolving practice in vascular and cardiovascular medicine.

The journal is led by Editor-in-Chief Dr Stephen Black and supported by an international team of section editors and an editorial board composed of world-renowned physicians. VER publishes review articles, editorials, expert opinions, case reports, letters to the editor, and educational content, all subject to rigorous double-blind peer review. The journal is fully open access, freely available online in HTML format, with downloadable PDFs for registered users, and optional print subscriptions.

Aims and Scope

The primary aim of Vascular and Endovascular Review is to assist specialist and general cardiologists, vascular surgeons, and allied healthcare professionals in staying informed about key developments in vascular and endovascular disease. The journal focuses on synthesizing current evidence, clinical guidelines, and expert consensus to enhance day-to-day clinical decision-making and support continuous medical education across the cardiovascular community.

VER covers a broad range of topics within vascular surgery and cardiovascular medicine, including aortic disease, peripheral artery disease, venous disorders, vascular medicine, complex endovascular procedures, and case-based clinical learning. By publishing high-quality review-led content and expert insights, the journal aims to improve clinical effectiveness, promote best practice, and disseminate clinically actionable knowledge to both specialist audiences and the wider cardiovascular field.
