The Journal of Building Material Science is an international scholarly journal dedicated to advancing research and innovation in construction and building materials. Scope
The journal covers a broad spectrum of topics in building material science, including cement and concrete technology, reinforcement materials, bricks and mortar, ceramics, wood, steel, fiberglass, polymers, asphalt, railway materials, recycled materials, bamboo, and rammed earth. It also welcomes research on innovative and non-traditional materials that enhance construction efficiency and performance.
Particular emphasis is placed on innovative and sustainable building materials, durability and maintenance of construction materials, fire-resistant engineered materials, circular economy applications in building materials, and the influence of materials on housing environments, including acoustics, moisture control, thermal performance, and air quality.
