Description

Revista Científica de Sistemas e Informática (RCSI) is an international open-access journal founded in 2021 and published by the Universidad Nacional de San Martín in collaboration with its Faculty of Systems Engineering and Informatics. RCSI disseminates high-quality, peer-reviewed research in computer science, information systems, computer networks and communications, and control and systems engineering. The journal publishes original articles, review papers, short communications, scientific notes, letters to the editor, and editorials, and it accepts submissions in both English and Spanish to reach a broader global audience.

Scope of the Journals

RCSI aims to provide a rigorous platform for academics, professionals, and students in the fields of systems engineering and related disciplines to share original and unpublished research with societal relevance. The journal focuses on theoretical and experimental studies, meta-analyses, and critical evaluations of research, emphasizing contributions that advance knowledge in computer science applications, information systems, hardware and architecture, and interdisciplinary areas involving computational technologies.

The journal encourages well-founded scientific works that meet strict quality standards, including original research articles, review articles, short communications, scientific notes, letters to the editor, and editorials. RCSI does not accept opinion pieces, anecdotal reports, inconclusive investigations, or works without a theoretical foundation. Adhering to COPE guidelines, the journal ensures ethical integrity in the publication process while maintaining international visibility and indexing in Scopus, DOAJ, Latindex, Dialnet, AméliCA, REDIB, MIAR, and other databases.
