Journal for Social Science Studies (JSSS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Divine Knowledge Institute (DKI). The journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academicians, policymakers, practitioners, and professionals to disseminate high-quality scholarly work addressing contemporary social, economic, political, cultural, and developmental issues. JSSS publishes original research articles, review articles, systematic reviews, theoretical and conceptual papers, case studies, policy papers, short communications, and other scholarly contributions that advance knowledge and understanding across the social sciences.

Focus & Scope

Journal for Social Science Studies (JSSS) covers a broad range of disciplines within the social sciences and welcomes research that examines social, economic, political, cultural, behavioral, developmental, and institutional phenomena at local, national, regional, and international levels. Its focus includes, but is not limited to, sociology, economics, political science, public administration, public policy, international relations, development studies, education, psychology, anthropology, social work, criminology, human geography, demography, gender studies, peace and conflict studies, governance, media and communication, cultural studies, linguistics, law and society, human rights, environmental and sustainability studies, urban and regional planning, tourism and hospitality management, business and organizational studies, behavioral sciences, migration studies, community development, and rural development.

The journal also encourages emerging and interdisciplinary areas such as digital society and social informatics, artificial intelligence and society, public health and society, social statistics and research methodology, entrepreneurship and innovation, ethics and social thought, and interdisciplinary social science research. JSSS particularly values studies that integrate perspectives from multiple disciplines, employ robust qualitative, quantitative, or mixed research methodologies, and generate meaningful theoretical or practical implications. Research offering evidence-based insights, innovative approaches, policy recommendations, and solutions to emerging societal and global challenges is strongly encouraged.
